Do you have a good photo to share? Maybe it’s from an accident scene or a photo of an 8-foot snowdrift outside your home.
We might be interested in posting it on inforum.com or in one of our blogs. And, in the case of a photo a couple weeks ago, we published a reader-submitted photo on the front of our Metro/State section. It was that good.
If you are submitting a photo to us, here are a few tips:
1. Random news photos can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. We may ask readers to send some other photos, like your favorite weather photos,
to a specific e-mail address.
2. Submit the name of the person who took the photo and contact information, whether it be a mobile phone number or e-mail address. There might be a time where we need to contact you before we publish it to verify some information.
3. Include where and when the photo was taken. In some cases, you might be able to name people in a photo, too.
4. Tell us a bit about the photo as well.
All that information can help us decide whether your photo will be published in one of our media.
While we may not publish every photo we receive. The more information we get about a photo can help us decide if it will be shared.
